"A Car Insurance Website" is a collaberation
between Quoteline Direct, the national telephone and Internet
arm of the Wilsons Insurance Group, and On
The Move Ltd, with insurance policies on offer from
some of the biggest names in UK insurance, including AXA,
Royal Sun Alliance, Cornhill, Provident, MMA, Fortis, Legal
and General, Lloyd's of London, NIG, Groupama, Norwich Union
and Zurich.
The back-end insurance quotation system that gives you
access to over 450 products from a panel of insurers is
provided by Quoteline Direct, while the design, interface,
marketing and promotion are handled by On
The Move.

Quoteline Direct are part of the Wilsons Group who are
professional registered insurance brokers with a direct
approach to customer satisfaction. In the year that Wilsons
served their first customer Man walked on the moon, the
Beatles topped the charts with 'Get Back' and Ford launched
the first Capri. Many things have changed since 1969 but
our commitment to first class customer service remains.
Originally operating as a High Street Insurance Brokerage
we have adapted to meet the needs of the modern Insurance
Consumer. No longer do people want to traipse up and down
the high street looking for insurance, wasting time standing
in a shop filling in forms. After many years' experience
dealing with customers over the telephone, including running
schemes for major motor manufacturers we decided to expand
our business nationally. In June 1993 we opened a new Quote
Centre and increased our national awareness under the Quoteline
Direct banner.
Following widespread research and customer consultation,
we saw out 1999 by closing our High Street network and opening
our new Call Centre in Manchester.
